Yeah it’s going to be a bathing suit, I just estimated the decrease wrong so it ended up a little oddly shaped. I think I might attempt a crochet edge to help disguise it.
You could do the front and back as two separate pieces to get the right fit and then join them using the kitchener stitch. Kitchener is tricky but I found a good video on you tube. The crochet edge will look nice too.
